I’m a digital marketing agency founder, and I recently had a client who was having some SEO issues with their WooCommerce store. They called me up and we discussed the problem, and I gave them some solutions.

The next day, I got a call from the client’s brother. He said that they were going to switch to Shopify because they thought it would be better for SEO.

I was a little surprised by this, because I had explained to the client that WooCommerce is actually a very SEO-friendly platform. I told the brother that I thought they were making a mistake, but he didn’t seem to want to listen.

In the end, the client decided to stay with WooCommerce, and they are now seeing some positive results from my SEO recommendations.

This experience taught me that it’s important to educate non-technical people about SEO before they make any decisions. I also learned that it’s important to be patient and persistent when dealing with non-technical people.
